# Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-21

These terms are an agreement between you and Omi Bot ("we", "us"). They apply when you use the hosted Omi Bot service at app.omibot.ai, the Omi Bot desktop and mobile apps, an Omi Bot presence in a chat app such as Telegram, or the website omibot.ai (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind it, and "you" means the company too.

## 1. Who we are

Omi Bot makes software for running persistent AI teammates ("bots") that have their own computer, sign in to your tools, work on a schedule, and ask before doing anything you cannot undo. The hosted Service runs that software for you. Enterprise customers can run the same software on their own infrastructure or in a dedicated cloud; see section 7.

## 2. Your account

- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to open an account.
- Give us accurate information and keep it current. Keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you join a team, the team's owner and admins can see the bots, conversations, files and connections that belong to that team, and can remove you from it. Your Personal team stays yours.
- Tell us right away at hello@omibot.ai if you think someone else has used your account.

## 3. Using Omi Bot

You may use the Service only in ways that are lawful and that do not harm other people, the Service, or the services your bots connect to. In particular, you agree not to:

- break the law, or ask a bot to;
- reach into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to reach;
- send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or content that is deceptive, abusive, or infringes someone's rights;
- use a bot to violate the terms of a website or app it signs in to;
- interfere with the Service, probe it for weaknesses, or get around its limits, rate limits, or approval checks;
- resell or sublicense the hosted Service without our written agreement.

Bots act on your instructions and use the accounts you sign them in to. You are responsible for what you ask a bot to do and for the results, including anything it sends, buys, posts or deletes on your behalf. The Service asks for your approval before actions it cannot undo where the product provides for it, but an approval rule you set, or an instruction you give, is your decision.

We may set fair-use limits on computers, storage, model usage and messages for each plan. If a limit is reached, the affected work pauses until the next period or until you upgrade.

## 4. Your content and your bots

Your content is yours. "Content" means everything you enter, upload, record or let a bot reach: messages, instructions, files, memories, routines, connected-app data and the results a bot produces for you. You give us the permission we need to store, process and transmit it in order to run the Service for you, including sending it to the model and other providers you have configured. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.

Bot output is generated by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check it before you rely on it, especially for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions. You may use output the same way you use your other content.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

## 5. Third-party services and models

A bot works with services you choose: model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or xAI, chat apps such as Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack, and the websites and apps you sign it in to. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern what they do with anything a bot sends them. You are responsible for having the right to connect an account and for keeping your own API keys within your provider's terms. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for them.

## 6. Paid plans

- Pro and Team plans are billed monthly in advance; Team is billed per seat. Enterprise terms are agreed separately and prevail over these terms where they differ.
- Prices exclude taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply, except taxes on our income.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund partial periods unless the law where you live requires it.
- If a payment fails we will tell you and may suspend paid features until it succeeds.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. A change takes effect at your next renewal after the notice.

## 7. Enterprise deployments

An Enterprise agreement can put Omi Bot on your own servers or in a dedicated cloud. That agreement governs the deployment, and your organisation is its operator: it controls who can sign in, what the bots may reach, and how long content is kept, and these terms apply to that deployment only where the agreement says so. Using the website, and any account on the hosted Service, remains subject to these terms.

## 8. Privacy

Our [Privacy Policy](/privacy/) explains what we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights. It is part of these terms.

## 9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app. Deletion removes your Personal team and everything in it; a team you own is deleted with it unless you transfer ownership first. Export what you want to keep before you delete.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we have to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to export your content. On closure we delete your content within 30 days except where we must keep it for legal, security or billing reasons.

## 10. What we promise and what we do not

We work hard to keep the Service available, accurate and secure, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that bots will complete every job, or that AI output will be correct. Features marked beta or preview may change or disappear.

## 11. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, even if we knew they were possible. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and 100 US dollars.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is the case, the limits apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

## 12. Disputes

If you have a problem, write to hello@omibot.ai first and we will try to sort it out with you within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place whose law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts under your own consumer law, you keep that right.

## 13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
